Headline: Finding the Sanctuary in the Suds

Have you ever felt like God was a million miles away, lost somewhere between your endless "to-do" list and the mountain of laundry waiting in the corner?

For a long time, I thought I had to be in a quiet room, on my knees, or sitting in a church pew to truly hear His voice. But then, life happened. I found myself on the road to the laundromat, surrounded by the hum of machines and the scent of detergent. It was there, in the most ordinary of places, that He met me.

He showed me that no matter how "soiled" our situations feel, we are never beyond His reach. We are being washed, dried, and folded into something beautiful by His hands.

From Soiled to Saved isn't just a book title; it's the testimony of my life. It’s a reminder that God doesn't wait for us to be "clean" before He speaks—He meets us right in the middle of the mess.

I would love to meet you in person and hear your story, too. I’ll be at the Nubian Bookstore on April 18th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. We can chat, share a moment of grace, and I’d be honored to sign a copy of the book for you.

Until then, remember: look for Him in the ordinary today. You might be surprised where He shows up.

With love, Debra
